Getting started
Signing in
Sign in with Apple or Google. Use the same one each time: it's how Remember finds your journal again.
Writing an entry
On Home, tap the record button to speak, or Type an entry to write. Your voice becomes text on your phone, and once you're signed in you can write with no connection. Check the words, then save.
Looking back
Read earlier entries in the Library and search by the words you used or what you meant. Search runs on your phone.
Your journal and your data
Is my journal private?
Your entries sync to a server we run, where they are encrypted on its disk. You can export them or delete them at any time.
What do AI connections send?
Only if you allow it, excerpts of saved entries go to an AI model through a zero data retention route to find connections across your journal. Your writing is never used to train models. Turn it on or off in Settings > Account: import, export, sign out.
How do I export my journal?
Settings > Account: import, export, sign out > Export my journal, then save or share the file.
How do I delete my account?
Settings > Account: import, export, sign out > Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and its journal on our server. Export first if you want a copy. If you signed in with Apple and the app asks you to, also remove Remember from Sign in with Apple in your Apple Account settings.
I have entries from before I signed in
They stay on your phone. Bring them into your account from Settings > Account: import, export, sign out > Bring in entries from before you signed in.
Something isn't working
My entries aren't syncing
Check your connection, then tap Reconnect and sync now on the Account page. Entries you've saved stay safe on your phone in the meantime.
I got a new phone
Install Remember and sign in with the same Apple or Google account. Please don't delete the app from your old phone until your entries show up on the new one.
Something else
Email support@faithcoded.com with what you were doing and what happened. Please don't send journal text unless you want us to see it.
